Help us put the Great British PAC on the map.
The Great British PAC is growing – and we are looking for an exceptional social media and digital marketing professional to help take us to the next level.
This isn't a job for somebody who simply schedules a few posts and watches the likes come in.
We want a digital powerhouse.
Someone who understands how to build an audience, create compelling content, spot opportunities, react quickly to breaking stories and turn campaigns into movements.
Most importantly, we are looking for somebody who believes passionately in Britain and genuinely wants to make a difference.
The Great British PAC campaigns on national and local issues across the United Kingdom. We support grassroots campaigns, organise petitions, mobilise supporters, lobby Parliament, back legal challenges, generate media coverage and give ordinary people a way to make their voices heard.
We now need someone brilliant to make sure Britain hears about it.
The role
You will take day-to-day ownership of the Great British PAC's social media and digital presence, working from our new headquarters in Redditch.
You will be responsible for making our channels look outstanding, increasing engagement, growing our audience and, crucially, turning followers into members, supporters, campaigners and donors.
You will understand that different platforms require different approaches.
You should be completely comfortable working across:
- X
- YouTube
- TikTok
- LinkedIn and other emerging platforms
You will understand what makes people stop scrolling, click, comment, share, sign a petition, join a campaign or become a member.
You should understand social-media algorithms, audience behaviour, posting times, hooks, thumbnails, captions, hashtags, trends, analytics, community management and paid promotion.
And you should constantly be asking:
How can we make this bigger?
Video will be a huge part of the job
We are building video into the heart of the Great British PAC.
We plan to film regularly from our new Redditch headquarters, including a weekly Great British PAC show covering our campaigns, investigations, victories, parliamentary work, local campaigns and the biggest issues facing Britain.
You will help turn that raw material into something people actually want to watch.
That means:
- editing the main weekly YouTube programme;
- producing trailers and teasers;
- cutting long-form interviews into punchy clips;
- creating YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks and X videos;
- adding captions, graphics and music where appropriate;
- creating strong thumbnails and titles;
- identifying the best moments from longer recordings;
- understanding audience retention and what keeps viewers watching;
- building our YouTube audience and subscriber base.
Our regional and country teams will also be sending footage, photographs, interviews and campaign updates from around Britain.
You will help turn all of that into a coherent national story showing that the Great British PAC is not simply talking about change – we are out there making things happen.
Rapid response
Politics and campaigning move quickly.
When a major story breaks at 10am, we don't necessarily want to be discussing what to post about it at 4pm.
You will need excellent judgement and the ability to react quickly.
That might mean creating a graphic, cutting a video, pulling together a statement, getting a spokesperson on camera, launching a social campaign or identifying an opportunity for the PAC to lead the debate.
You will work closely with our leadership and campaign teams to make sure the PAC becomes increasingly recognised as an organisation that acts.
Growth & marketing
This role isn't just about content.
It is about growth.
We want somebody who understands digital marketing and can help us:
- grow membership;
- increase petition signatures;
- build our email lists;
- recruit volunteers and Email Warriors;
- increase donations and campaign support;
- promote events and local meetings;
- drive traffic to our website;
- develop highly effective membership and fundraising campaigns;
- run and optimise paid social campaigns;
- retarget people who have engaged with our content;
- test different creative approaches and messaging;
- identify which campaigns actually convert followers into active supporters.
You should be comfortable looking at data and reporting on what is working – and what isn't.
We aren't interested in vanity statistics.
Reach matters. Engagement matters. But action matters most.
Build our digital community
Our supporters are not simply numbers on a screen.
They are part of a growing movement.
You will help us engage with them.
That includes monitoring comments and messages, identifying enthusiastic supporters, encouraging people to participate, inviting appropriate followers to our communities and helping turn passive followers into active campaigners.
You will also help identify brilliant user-generated content from around the country that deserves a national audience.
You
We are looking for someone who is:
- highly experienced with the major social-media platforms;
- an excellent video editor;
- comfortable with YouTube and long-form video;
- knowledgeable about algorithms and digital audience growth;
- experienced in paid social-media promotion;
- commercially and marketing minded;
- creative;
- politically aware;
- extremely organised;
- quick;
- accurate;
- obsessive about detail;
- comfortable working in a fast-moving environment;
- capable of working independently and taking ownership;
- full of ideas.
You should be somebody who spots an opportunity and acts on it.
We don't want to have to tell you that a brilliant 25-second moment from an interview should become a Reel.
We want you to tell us.
Experience in politics, campaigning, journalism, digital publishing, membership organisations or advocacy would be particularly valuable, although exceptional candidates from other backgrounds will absolutely be considered.
And there is one more important requirement
You must care about this country.
The Great British PAC exists because we believe Britain is worth fighting for.
Our team contains people from different political backgrounds, but we are united by patriotism, democracy, sovereignty, freedom, accountability and the belief that ordinary people should have a much greater say in the future of their country.
This role will put you right at the heart of that mission.
There will be busy days. There will be breaking stories. There will be campaigns that suddenly explode. There will be occasions when everybody needs to muck in.
If you are looking for a quiet corporate marketing job, this probably isn't it.
If you want to use your creativity, energy and digital skills to help build one of Britain's most exciting grassroots campaigning organisations, we want to hear from you.
What you'll help us build
Our ambition is significant.
We want to build:
- A major national social-media presence.
- A successful weekly YouTube show.
- A digital network connecting campaigns across Britain.
- Hundreds of thousands of engaged supporters.
- A powerful membership movement capable of turning online support into real-world action.
And we want the person taking this role to help shape how we get there.
How to apply
Please send us:
- your CV;
- a short covering note explaining why you want to work with the Great British PAC;
- examples of social-media accounts, campaigns or channels you have worked on;
- examples of video content you have created or edited;
- and, most importantly, three things you would do to improve the Great British PAC's digital presence in your first 30 days.
Shortlisted candidates may also be asked to complete a practical content exercise.
This isn't about maintaining some social-media accounts.
It's about building a movement.
PEOPLE. ACTION. COUNTRY.
