Leave the European Convention on Human Rights: Restore Parliament's Final Say

The Government says the Convention “must evolve” and is legislating to tighten how Article 8 is applied — its own impact assessment expects around 11,700 more claims refused. We say reinterpreting a treaty we cannot control is not the same as being in charge of our own law. Sign to leave the ECHR and put Parliament's decisions back beyond the reach of a court we do not appoint.

Reform the Child Maintenance Service: Make Child Maintenance Fair for Both Parents

The Child Maintenance Service works out payments from one parent's income alone, takes no account of what the other household brings in, and generally only recalculates when income moves by 25% or more. Tell the Home Secretary: Suspend the Islamic Centre of England's Visa Sponsor Licence

The Islamic Centre of England has been under a Charity Commission statutory inquiry since 2022, yet it remains on the Home Office register of licensed visa sponsors, A-rated, for Skilled Worker, Minister of Religion and Religious Worker visas. We are calling on the Home Secretary to suspend the licence until the inquiry concludes. The British public deserve confidence that organisations entrusted with sponsoring visas meet the very highest standards.

Free Markets, Not Mandates: Stop the Government's Online Prominence Regime

The Government is consulting on a mandatory "prominence regime" that could force online platforms to push legacy broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 to the top of your feeds and search results, at the expense of the independent creators and publishers you actually chose. We believe the NHS was not set up to provide palliative care, and that we need a new body to oversee provision of all palliative care. We think the NHS is about treatment and prevention and that care for those with life ending diseases and dementia needs to be better overseen with greater focus.

Fully fund Specialist Palliative Care provided by hospices
Hospices provide vital care yet are dependent on fundraising. Palliative care costs are lower in a hospice than hospital. UK hospices are in financial crisis, having to drastically reduce specialist services for patients and their families or face closure. Hospices urgently need appropriate funding.
