Make Britain Beautiful launches its very first Community Action Day in Redditch, and we would love you to join us. Volunteers will work in teams to clean up Church Green and the streets around it, showing what a town can do when neighbours pull together.
What we will be doing
- Litter picking around Church Green
- Weeding around the Redditch Foodbank car park
- Clearing weeds from public spaces
- Cleaning public signs to brighten up the town centre
What to bring
- Gardening gloves, litter pickers, buckets, cloths and towels — whatever you already have at home
- Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear
No equipment? Come along anyway — you are very welcome, and there will be plenty to do.
Where to meet
Meet outside Acts of Kindness, 24 Church Green East, for a 10am start. Whether you can spare an hour or the whole morning, every pair of hands makes a difference.
