The Second Margaret Thatcher Centre Annual Academic Symposium
A half-day conference on Margaret Thatcher's legacy and the geopolitical and economic shifts of her era, forty years on from the Single European Act. Chaired by the Centre's academic director, Dr Tim Aker, with speakers including the Rt Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind KC, Michael McManus, the Rev Jonathan Aitken, Lord Norton of Louth, Lord Elliott of Mickle Fell, Professor Catherine Barnard and Peter Just. Registration from 12.30pm, buffet lunch at 1pm, sessions until 6pm, then an hour's drinks reception. Business attire.
